This website is operated by Built Different Goods Pty Ltd trading as Rove & Wag (“Rove & Wag”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Our website, online store, information, products and related services are collectively referred to as the “Services”.

By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before using our website or placing an order.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Online store eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to place an order through our website. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You must not use our website or products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.

3. Product information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours, features and specifications are accurate. However, the appearance of colours may vary depending on your device and display settings.

Product packaging, colours, finishes or minor design details may occasionally differ from the images shown without affecting the product’s intended function or overall quality.

Product suitability, sizing and installation requirements should be checked before placing an order. Some products may not be suitable for every dog, vehicle or intended activity. Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate product and supervising their dog while a product is being used.

4. Pet and travel safety

Our products are intended to assist with pet travel, comfort, organisation and vehicle protection. Unless expressly stated otherwise, our products are not represented as crash-tested safety restraints or substitutes for professional veterinary, behavioural or vehicle-safety advice.

Always inspect products before use, follow the supplied instructions and discontinue use if a product becomes damaged or unsafe. Dogs should not be left unattended with products that could be chewed, swallowed, tangled or damaged.

5. Prices and payments

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable unless otherwise stated.

Shipping charges and any available discounts will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed. Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may be provided by third-party payment services.

We may correct genuine pricing or listing errors before dispatch. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and provide the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item for a full refund.

6. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee that it has been accepted. An order is accepted when we confirm it and commence fulfilment.

We may cancel or decline an order where:

• the product is unavailable;
• payment cannot be authorised;
• the delivery address is incomplete or cannot be serviced;
• there is a genuine pricing or product-listing error;
• we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised activity or resale activity; or
• fulfilling the order would breach a law or these terms.

If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method.

7. Stock and fulfilment

Products are subject to availability. Some products are dispatched directly from our Australian suppliers or fulfilment partners.

If an order contains multiple products, those products may be dispatched separately and may arrive in different parcels or on different days. Where available, separate tracking information will be provided for each shipment.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative, backorder option or refund.

8. Shipping and delivery

Shipping destinations, charges, estimated dispatch times, delivery information and tracking details are explained in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Delays may occur because of courier disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters, peak periods, remote delivery locations or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Please contact us immediately if an address is incorrect. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered fulfilment.

Additional delivery, redirection or return-to-sender costs resulting from an incorrect address, an unclaimed parcel or a refused delivery may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.

9. Returns, refunds and warranties

Returns, refunds, faulty products, damaged deliveries, missing parts and warranty claims are handled in accordance with our Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact us before returning a product. Products must not be sent to our business address, the sender’s address shown on a parcel or a supplier’s warehouse unless we have provided return authorisation and instructions.

10. Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes and promotional offers are subject to any conditions displayed with the offer. Unless otherwise stated:

• only one discount code may be used per order;
• discounts cannot be applied after an order has been placed;
• discounts cannot be exchanged for cash;
• discounts may exclude selected products, bundles or gift cards; and
• offers are available for the stated promotional period or while stocks last.

We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there has been a genuine error, misuse or technical problem. This does not affect orders already accepted unless we contact the customer and provide an appropriate remedy.

11. Gift cards

Gift cards may be subject to separate conditions displayed when purchased or issued. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

12. Website information and availability

We endeavour to keep our website accurate, secure and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

Information on our website is provided for general purposes and should not be treated as professional veterinary, medical, legal, mechanical or vehicle-safety advice.

13. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use our website for fraudulent, unlawful or harmful activity;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or connected systems;

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display and reproduce submitted content in connection with our website and marketing. We will not use identifiable customer photographs for unrelated advertising without appropriate permission.

We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant or infringes another person’s rights.

The Rove & Wag name, branding, website design, written content, graphics and original images are owned by or licensed to BDG Pty Ltd. They must not be copied, reproduced, altered, distributed or used commercially without our written permission.

Our website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, couriers and social media platforms. These third parties may have their own terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for the content or operation of an independent third-party website merely because our website links to it.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, guarantees, remedies or liabilities that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable or was caused by misuse of a product, failure to follow instructions, unauthorised modification or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our business, website, products or legal obligations. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply to future website use and orders and will not remove rights that have already arisen in relation to an accepted order.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Nothing in this section limits any right a consumer may have to bring a claim in another jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
